Work Experience at Paragon Creative!
5 July 2017
Paragon Creative has always welcomed creative folk looking for work experience and 2017 has seen a huge increase in the popularity of work experience in the commercial creative sector, we will be the host for many students over the coming months as they come and see what it's really like to work within a creative design and build company.
We caught up with Sophie Hyman (21) a BA(Hons) Modelmaking student from the Arts University, Bournemouth. Sophie spent a week in the Scenic department working with our Model Makers, Prop Makers and Scenic Painters.
What do you like most about your University course?
Being surrounded by other creative people and having access to tutors who have the knowledge of every industry that we have the potential to join.
What are your careers ambitions?
My current plan is to try and enjoy 3rd year and then see what New Blades brings me!
Did you enjoy your time at Paragon, if so what was your favourite activity or department?
I really enjoyed talking to the modelmakers about past projects and the processes and techniques used to achieve them.
Would working in the commercial creative sector be something you would consider in your career?
Overall, would you recommend Paragon Creative to your peers looking for work experience?
Thank you to Sophie for joining us and we look forward to welcoming the rest of our work experience students over the coming months!
